INFORMATION Notice of construction in the museum

Repair work will be conducted on some parts of the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the construction work, which will result in restricted access to the outdoor areas including the museum courtyard and the area around the well. We will proceed with the work with due consideration for safety, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Construction period: July 28, 2025 (month) to mid-September 2025
Construction site: Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum courtyard, outside passage from tasting area to store (around well)

precautions
*During the construction period, the museum will be open to visitors, but the tour route will be different from the usual one. For safety reasons, please follow the instructions of the staff.
*No access to the courtyard, well area, or other outdoor areas is allowed.
*Since the construction site includes a pathway for barrier-free access, we can not offer easy access will be allowed during the construction period.　(There are steps at the entrance and some parts of the building)
*The museum may be temporarily closed depending on the progress and content of construction.

美酒之乡伏见

是声名远播的美酒之乡。从京都站南行约7公里后，古色古香的老宅街景便会映入眼帘。透过伏见城的外护城河濠川沿岸的柳树，能看见许多白色土墙仓房的酒窖。每到酿酒旺季，酒窖附近弥漫着蒸煮大米与发酵酒醅的醇香，洋溢着美酒之乡所特有的情趣。

月桂冠大仓纪念馆

在月桂冠大仓纪念馆，顾客可以了解其历史变迁并感受日本酒文化，还可以体会到推动当地酿酒事业发展的月桂冠精神。参观结束后，顾客还能品尝到自挑战和创造中精炼出的传统工艺，搭配伏见自然蕴藏的地下水所酿成的各种日本酒。
